With over five years of experience teaching preschool and primary students using the Montessori method, Poonam Shukla is a dedicated educator passionate about early childhood development,
creative learning, and holistic teaching methods. Holding a Master’s degree in Commerce and
Human Psychology, she blends academic structure with emotional intelligence, fostering a
nurturing and engaging learning environment for young minds.
Beyond the classroom, Poonam is an accomplished classical dancer and choreographer, holding
a degree in Bharatnatyam—one of India’s most revered classical dance forms. As a leading
choreographer, she has mastered and teaches a wide range of dance styles, inspiring students to
express themselves through movement and rhythm. Her graceful artistry and dynamic
performances have been showcased in Portland and across multiple cities in the U.S., earning
admiration from diverse audiences.
With a unique blend of educational expertise and artistic creativity, Poonam creates meaningful
learning experiences, integrating music, movement, and cognitive development into her teaching
approach. Her commitment to both academic and artistic growth makes her a mentor, role model,
and visionary in her field.
